Brenda Beaver Celebration of Life

All are welcome to celebrate the life of Brenda Beaver with her family at 2:00pm in the sanctuary of the church. Lunch following the service.

Brenda Beaver, a church member for nearly 20 years, was a light of sunshine wherever she went. This morning, she was welcomed by Jesus's open arms into His "Sonshine" and is no longer in pain. Ten days ago, she took a fall, and since that time, she has been in bed, lethargic and very weak. Surrounded yesterday by her two sons, brother, and wife, she was aware of their love, and they said their goodbyes. We rejoice she did not have to suffer any longer, but her contagious, committed spirit will be missed. 

Brenda soaked up God's word and shared it with people wherever she went, at the dog park or in the housing units where she lived. Even though she had several debilitating conditions, she still looked for ways to serve: as a greeter for the Fall Festival (yes, all dressed in costume) or sitting on a stool in the Welcome Center to bring a friendly smile and help whoever needed information about our church. She was a woman of fashion - she loved bright colors, earrings, and wigs. Her nickname was "bootless," as you'd never catch her without colorful boots.
