Hope For You: Come As You Are
This sermon invites weary, overwhelmed people to recognize that their deepest exhaustion is not just physical but spiritual, and that Jesus’ invitation in Matthew 11:28–29 offers more than relief—it offers a new way to live. Rather than striving to earn rest after doing more, Jesus calls us to come to Him in our depletion, to be “yoked” with Him, and to experience His steady, unhurried rhythm in the middle of our responsibilities. With special attention to the often unseen and soul-draining work of motherhood, the message affirms that our value is not found in performance but in being deeply loved by God, and that nothing done in faithfulness is ever wasted. True rest, then, is not escape from life, but the presence of Christ within it—carrying the weight with us, restoring what has been depleted, and offering peace for our souls even as we continue to live, love, and serve.
