Poisoned Roots

In this message of series, Above the Noise: Finding Peace in an Outraged World, we confront the hidden danger of bitterness and the ways unresolved wounds can quietly take root in our hearts. Through Scripture, we’ll discover how Jesus invites us to name the wound, cancel the debt, and choose blessing over blame... not by minimizing what happened or abandoning healthy boundaries, but by refusing to let someone else’s sin continue to imprison us. The service culminates at the Communion table, where we will come forward to remember the grace we have received through Christ and symbolically surrender what we were never meant to carry. Together, we’ll discover that when bitterness whispers and the world calls us toward outrage, the cross can speak louder... and through Jesus, forgiveness, grace, peace, and freedom can have the final word.
