Rooted Living, Thriving Church launches with Psalm 1’s picture of a tree planted by streams, reminding us that the goal isn’t avoiding storms but growing deep roots that hold when the wind hits. Jesus names worry as life-shrinking and diagnoses it as a “wrong first,” inviting us to re-center every day by seeking first God’s kingdom and righteousness—God’s reign made visible in a Spirit-formed life of truth, humility, forgiveness, and courage. As we begin 21 Days of Prayer, the sermon calls us to build deeper on the Rock, trusting the Father who knows what we need and the Lord of creation who holds all things together, so our rooted lives help the whole church thrive.
