SHABACH: Louder Than Fear

This sermon calls the church to rediscover Shabach - praise that boldly declares God’s greatness aloud - especially when fear, grief, anxiety, or unanswered prayers try to dominate the soul. Through David’s self-directed worship in Psalm 103, the grateful leper in Luke 17, Israel’s shout before Jericho’s walls fell, and the generational call of Psalm 145, the message reminds believers that worship is more than a song; it is an act of remembrance, trust, and testimony. Even while the wall is still standing, God’s people are invited to remember His mercy, declare His faithfulness, pass their testimony to the next generation, and let their faith become louder than their fear because Jesus Christ is risen, reigning, and still Lord.
