Alabaster Sunday
optimizing
Alabaster Sunday is a special offering observed in the Church of the Nazarene that supports the construction of churches, schools, medical facilities, and other ministry buildings around the world. Rooted in the biblical story of the woman who poured an alabaster jar of expensive perfume on Jesus as an act of devotion (Mark 14:3–9), the offering encourages members to give sacrificially, often by setting aside money in Alabaster offering boxes throughout the year. Because 100% of Alabaster gifts are used for property and building projects, these offerings help provide permanent places where people can worship, learn, receive care, and experience the transforming love of Christ.
